[Dnsmasq-discuss] same dns name on diffeerent ip ranges

Hi,

i'm using dnsmasq with multiple ip ranges and have setup different
domains for that:

domain=A.domain.x,10.0.0.10,10.0.15.250

AND

domain=B.domain.x,10.0.0.10,10.0.15.250

The problem is if a host with name ABC registers for range A as it
matches the rules for A (tag-if) the host with the SAME name ABC of
range B seems to get deleted. Not the host itself but the DNS record in
the leases file.

dnsmasq version 2.62 from debian wheezy.

Greets,
Stefan

that doesn't look like a different IP range :?
sorry just a copy and paste error it's:

domain=A.domain.x,10.0.0.10,10.0.15.250

and

domain=B.domain.x,10.0.32.10,10.0.47.250

See option --dhcp-fqdn which is probably needed in your case.
